What’s Included
- Aptify will work with the client to delete unnecessary record history data.
- Aptify will work with the client to delete unnecessary object XML data stored in the record history table. Unchecked record history xml data is usually the biggest item contributing to overgrown database size and performance.
- Aptify will work with the client to delete any previous unneeded data conversion data that may have been left in the system.
- Indexes and their performance is extremely important to database performance. Aptify will identify unused, missing and even detrimental indexes and where advisable will make adjustments to the database to improve indexes in the Aptify database.
- Index fragmentation over time can also have a dramatic effect on performance, Aptify will identify and fix problem areas, were advisable, by rebuilding or reorganizing fragmented indexes.
- Validate and set optimal recommended database settings such as database isolation level.
- Aptify will keep enhancing the recurring database cleanup offering with solutions to common issues or best practices seen from other Aptify clients.
Reporting and Analysis
Aptify will analyze the client database configuration for settings that can cause unsatisfactory performance with Aptify and make necessary recommendations based on known best practices to improve performance and database health.
As part of the analysis Aptify will also identify and provide general reporting; a report of table record size; and costly stored procedures. Please note that the above common practices will solve a majority of data cleanup issues that Aptify has seen in past to keep the system running smoothly but it is possible that there are unique cases in a client database which will take additional effort above and beyond this offering.
Pricing and Schedule
This offering is performed every last week of the quarter. Price is for the full year renewed automatically on the following anniversary date. Subscription can be cancelled anytime by notifying Aptify before renewal.
